We conduct all our training from our yard, so you don’t waste time travelling during your training. You will be driving on the same roads that you will be on during your test, as soon as you start the course.
If you are towing a horse box, medium to large sized caravan, car transporter trailer, plant or machinery trailer, you will probably need to pass the DVSA’s B+E test to do so legally. Check your towing entitlement here.
The B+E test is based around the LGV Test and lasts for approximately 90 minutes. During this time you will be expected to demonstrate reversing the trailer into a confined space. Correct procedures for uncoupling and recoupling the trailer to the car, and drive on the road for about an hour. During the towing test you must make no more than 15 small mistakes to ensure a pass.
